Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SnapLnk ("SnapLnk", "we", "us"), a web application for shortening links, generating QR codes, viewing click analytics, creating bio/landing pages and transferring files. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

SnapLnk lets you create shortened URLs, track clicks, generate QR codes, build a link-in-bio page and send files directly between browsers. We offer a free tier and a paid "Pro" subscription that unlocks additional features.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use SnapLnk.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SnapLnk to create, host or distribute links or content that is illegal, malicious (malware, phishing, scams), infringing, deceptive, or that violates the rights of others. We may disable links or accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Abuse prevention & link safety

To keep the service safe we actively enforce the rules above. In particular we:

• screen destination URLs against safety databases (such as Google Safe Browsing) and block links pointing to malware, phishing or other harmful sites;
• block links to private/internal network addresses and bare IP addresses;
• rate-limit link creation to prevent spam and automated abuse;
• may review, disable or remove any link, page or account we reasonably believe is abusive, and may cooperate with law-enforcement where required.

These measures are provided on a best-effort basis and do not guarantee that every harmful link is caught; you remain responsible for the links you create.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans (Pro and Enterprise) are offered as recurring subscriptions. Payments are processed by our authorised payment provider, who acts as Merchant of Record and is responsible for the order transaction, billing and collection of applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us; access continues until the end of the paid period.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled in line with our Refund Policy.

7. Intellectual property

SnapLnk and its software, design and branding are owned by us. Content you create (links, pages, uploads) remains yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to host and display it as part of providing the service.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using SnapLnk and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
