This Privacy Policy explains what data SnapLnk ("we", "us") collects, why, and your rights over it.

We use this data to operate the service: authenticate you, store and redirect your links, show you analytics, and provide Pro features. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Payments

Pro purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. When you buy a subscription, Paddle collects and processes your billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive only limited information (such as your subscription status) needed to enable Pro features. We never see or store your full card details.

4. File transfers

Files sent through SnapLnk's transfer feature stream directly between browsers (peer-to-peer). Files are not uploaded to or stored on our servers; we only relay the connection setup needed to establish the link.

5. Link safety screening

To protect users, when you create or edit a link we check the destination URL for safety. This may involve sending the URL to a reputable safety service (such as Google Safe Browsing) to detect malware or phishing. We also block links to private/internal addresses and bare IP addresses, and rate-limit link creation to prevent abuse. We do not use this screening to profile you.

6. Cookies & storage

We use local browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We use essential analytics only as described above.

7. Data retention

We keep your account and link data while your account is active. You can delete links, pages or your whole account at any time, which removes the associated data.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You can also delete most data yourself from within the app.
